Soon after he completed a writing-intensive graduate business program in 2006, Phillip Edwin became bored with ‘conventional life’ and borrowed numerous young adult novels from a longtime friend. Before long, he became inspired by the prose of various authors and researched their influences which plunged him beneath the covers of Victorian literature. After he plotted his intended first novel—wherein he planned to explore themes of racism and other social injustices—Mr. Edwin then decided to plot his actual first which explored brotherhood and self-sacrifice. Thereafter, in 2010, the initial draft of Sons of Beasts: Legend of Steeple Creek was penned.
Phillip lives with his family in Cleveland, OH.
