On Monday, May 22nd at Manchester Arena (England), a terrorist’s bomb killed twenty-two (above) and wounded one-hundred sixteen.
To the family and friends of the twenty-two, I offer prayer, sympathy, and condolence.
To the one-hundred sixteen, I pray for a full and speedy recovery.
To the United Kingdom, you are perhaps the most beautiful, accepting, and selfless society on earth (and my apologies this had happened). May U.K. citizens nonetheless keep their chin lifted. Many of my heroes had arisen from you. Except even now, you’re my heroes. You remain in my prayers.
Throughout June nevertheless, I plan to forego our reading series to honor the life and legacy of those who’d passed or had been wounded in any recent act of terror/ violence (i.e. London, Manchester, Portland, etc…) and pray.

P.S. A TREMENDOUS ‘thank you’ goes to Chris Parker and other Manchester homeless individuals who arrived at the arena explosion aftermath and cared for the wounded until emergency medical personnel arrived. May the Lord lift you all from poverty and set you on a brighter path.
