Blog Post #11: PhillipEdwin.Com Content

Greetings Friends!

How was your July 2015? Tremendous, I trust! This month was a fantastic one for me, as well. If you know me (…which I’d imagine many are only just beginning to), I love to go to great lengths to maintain realism. For example, if I’m writing a story about early teens in junior high, I like to study television shows or books geared around that. Or, if I want to write a story where the setting takes place in a dense, forested area, I like to visit one (…which I did earlier this month when I visited Hocking Hills, OH where I spent the weekend in a log cabin deep in the woods! This was my first overnight in a cabin and it offered much scope for the imagination… and plus, it was just plain fun!).

Given the fact I sought to enhance the realism (…and experience for that matter) for both Sons of Beasts: Legend of Steeple Creek and PhillipEdwin.com nonetheless, I spent July 2015 adding content to the website. For individuals who are interested in learning about Sons of Beasts’ characters, I’ve added a character description page that you can visit by clicking here. Also within the next week, I plan to add both an interactive quiz for kids and an author Q & A page for folks who’d like to learn more about me.

So, I’ve got to say, I’m ecstatic about these additions! Not only because folks gain an opportunity to learn more about both me and my writings, but because I’ve gained a way to remain creative and imaginative outside of my writing! I mean, never in my wildest dreams did I ever believe I’d author any quiz let alone my own fun, interactive one!

(…Sigh). My apologies, all! Sometimes, I go too far with sweating the small stuff… but then again, isn’t that what writers are supposed to do? Lol!

Many thanks, and Happy Friday!
